The Resolution of a Christian

To be holy, set apart

My life reflecting the Father's heart

That I would give

When the world says take

That I would zig

When the world says zag

That I would love

When people say hate

That for myself, I would deny

When my flesh says, "go ahead and try."

As feet follow feet, I will walk His line

The food my soul eats, "Awake", my mind

My eye would be new

And all my words true

My walk in secret or for all to see

Be consistent and not be hypocrisy

Transform my heart, change my image

Turn stone to flesh, reflect His visage.

In you I hide, I will abide

In the cleft of the rock, not trees that die.

I feel it...your life, forever alive

To die to myself and be found in you

Where death is a lie and your kingdom true.

Feet you will go wherever you're told

I surrender until my days are old.

Obedience become my greatest pleasure

See my master is...my father....and treasure.
