Randy and Sarah met as teenagers and after both attending Biola University in Los Angeles, they married and started their tribe. Sarah holds a BS in Biblical Studies and works tirelessly as a mother of five, home educator, writer, podcaster and overall creative. Randy holds a BA in Communications, MA in Philosophy, Juris Doctorate and LL.M in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis, and CFP. They live in St. Louis, MO and are active members of their church and community. They are known to host crazy dance parties in their home… most of the time, it’s a party of two!

We have experienced something. It is big. The experiences began sporadically and seemingly randomly. But the occasional drip from the faucet has become a flow of water that is consistent, powerful and quenching. The water level has reached the top and is now overflowing. If we hold it in, we will burst. Anxiety, depression, addictions and sickness be damned. King Jesus is here and so is His Kingdom. Until our last breath, we will bear witness to His Love, Presence, Truth and Power.

Even though Sarah and I were both raised in Christian churches and families, we did not consider the breadth and depth of the Joy, Peace and Power that flows from God’s Love, Presence and Truth. We found it through suffering. The details are not important and could not be fully understood anyway. The result is what matters. “Staying in it and staying soft” during suffering eventually developed perseverance which produced character that over time became a “hope that does not disappoint.”

The result? We do not live offended. We are not outraged. When the culture zigs, we zag. Our culture promises pleasure through illicit sex or a re-write of it altogether. We follow the King’s blueprint for sex and marriage and keep our hearts, bodies and minds only for each other. The culture says “Get Rich or Die Trying” but we found that a life of radical generosity brings not only riches but a wealth that surpasses money. The culture promises freedom from suffering by obsessively examining our own wounds. But we have found freedom by focusing on His wounds.

We have lived parts of our life and marriage fighting, in and out of bouts of depression, addictions and years of daily tightness in the chest from anxiety. After many years of growing in intimacy and knowledge of the one True God by the power of the Holy Spirit and through the blood of Jesus, we have been “transformed by the renewing of our minds” and have left these patterns of destruction in the past. Perfect? Not yet. At peace? Yes. Effective? Yes. Favored and blessed? Absolutely…even in suffering. The result? Years of unmedicated freedom from addiction, anxiety and depression and a marriage that only grows stronger through conflict.

Our Passion? Bring as many people with us into the “good life” as possible. First, you must believe it is real. Our commitment is to be authentic and honest about our life and struggles. The gateway is humility and perseverance and the payoff is peace of mind and joy in all circumstances.

God, we honor, revere and love you because you first loved us and sent Jesus to pay our debt. We give you all that we are and ask you to open Spiritual eyes to see you for who you are. “Let our lives shine brightly so they may see our good deeds and praise you in heaven.” Amen.
